During our last visit, we tasted a Fresh Lemon Liqueur from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheringhamdistillery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sheringham DIstillery<\/a>, This time around, we\u2019re trying their Beacon Gin.<\/p>\n<p>Before we get to our review, here are a few words about this Gin that we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheringhamdistillery.com\/beacon-gin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">copy\/pasted directly from their website<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>Formerly Kazuki Gin, \u201cBeacon\u201d embodies a sense of place, signifying two monumental sites on Vancouver Island where Sheringham Distillery originated\u2013the iconic Sheringham Point Lighthouse beacon located by our first distillery and the beloved springtime cherry blossom-lined Beacon Hill Park. Brilliant floral and fruitiness of the cherry blossoms deliver polished and rounded edges with soft citrus notes of yuzu and grapefruit, and local green tea leaves and flowers give a delicate herbaceous note through to the finish. Beacon Gin is elegant on its own and brilliantly nuanced in a Sheringham cocktail. 43% ABV<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While we\u2019d never consider ourselves to be experts when it comes to Gin (or anything else for that matter!), we have had more than a few over the years, so we\u2019re not exactly novices when it comes to this type of stuff.
