{"id":80806,"date":"2025-02-10T23:45:46","date_gmt":"2025-02-10T23:45:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/alternative-medicine\/a-shamanic-herbal-by-matthew-wood\/"},"modified":"2025-02-10T23:45:46","modified_gmt":"2025-02-10T23:45:46","slug":"a-shamanic-herbal-by-matthew-wood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=80806","title":{"rendered":"A Shamanic Herbal by Matthew Wood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-body-4180151451022022167\" itemprop=\"description articleBody\">\n<p>\u00a0This is one of those very rare books that I savor like fine chocolate.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t want to read a lot at one sitting, because each herb (for instance) description or tale requires some introspection.\u00a0 To read too quickly, I couldn&#8217;t absorb it properly.\u00a0 It deserves the time.<\/p>\n<p>Physically, the book feels good.\u00a0 Nice size (over 400 pages), easy to hold at 9&#8243; x 6&#8243; &#8211; and print that I can easily read.\u00a0 The paper is non-glare, which I also appreciate. <\/p>\n<p>Very often when people are attempting to convey experiences that are mystical or beyond the mundane, they employ a sort of language that I find ambiguous and confusing. Although that can be good in works of fiction, it is less than helpful when sharing information.<\/p>\n<p>The GOOD news is that Matthew&#8217;s voice is very clear, leaving out innuendo.\u00a0 By speaking this way, he makes it easy to read about faeries, spirit, clairvoyance, and the like and takes the reader along willingly.\u00a0 He talks it through and I find that to be unusual and wonderful.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/img\/b\/R29vZ2xl\/AVvXsEgF7IgKbsVnlFly1Vt0YXfrkDd34o-Ck7xsjTYAFPBhXh41lCfdz9DeY7g5dS_lBx6Q3J3N6_zywK-gY0mXpONvtXfkY2LWRyFFvo3MQ8tN7FP3JLu_R99LxjjVbJIWLR6mKFVsIIArmV6yzynMujPBDbyUZN4WKDSUCFW41U81GwMW9VCYGv4H\/s320\/A%20book%20cover%20with%20plants%20and%20plants.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"320\" data-original-width=\"213\" height=\"588\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/img\/b\/R29vZ2xl\/AVvXsEgF7IgKbsVnlFly1Vt0YXfrkDd34o-Ck7xsjTYAFPBhXh41lCfdz9DeY7g5dS_lBx6Q3J3N6_zywK-gY0mXpONvtXfkY2LWRyFFvo3MQ8tN7FP3JLu_R99LxjjVbJIWLR6mKFVsIIArmV6yzynMujPBDbyUZN4WKDSUCFW41U81GwMW9VCYGv4H\/w391-h588\/A%20book%20cover%20with%20plants%20and%20plants.jpg\" width=\"391\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The first half of the book describes the things that got his attention along the way and led to learning from so many teachers himself (not all human) to have a confidence and familiarity in that information.\u00a0 I need to reread it to really get all of it &#8211; and I wanted to get this post up since the book is out!<\/p>\n<p>The second half of the book is different kinds of medicine and the animals that help share their magic.\u00a0 The animals are described in their realm and how they interact with us, each other, their enemies, surroundings, or qualities specific to them.
