The previous (five) releases all got a catalog number from the <em>Dronarivm <\/em>series (DR-*), but <strong><em>Demetrio Ceccitelli<\/em><\/strong><em>\u2018s <strong>Jump<\/strong><\/em> has catalog number LMA-01 \u2013 which feels a bit like the \u2018official start\u2019 of the sublabel. <br \/>As if to celebrate this, there are two versions of the cassette, both limited to 35 copies: the \u2018classic\u2019 edition and the \u2018deluxe\u2019 edition. Of course, there is also a digital version available.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Cecchitelli<\/strong><\/em> has released 22 albums on various labels since 2019; this is his first on <em>Dronarivm\/Le Mont Analogue.<\/em> In ten relatively short pieces (totaling 37 minutes), he shows his versatility in creating ambient\/drone pieces. As <em><strong>The Green Kingdom<\/strong><\/em>, he <em>\u2018produces minimal ambient music using a variety of digitally-manipulated sounds sourced from a variety of acoustic and electronic instruments\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The main instrument on <strong><em>Horizons<\/em><\/strong> is his guitar, acoustic as well as electric, comfortably embedded in the supporting electronic background. The combination results in a bright and optimistic, summer-like, and possibly \u2018green\u2019 sound truly a pleasure to listen to.  <\/p>\n<p>Compared to his previous releases (<strong><em>Cottone <\/em><\/strong>has been releasing music for some 20 years on many different labels) the music is somewhat less focused on ambient (though it definitely has the atmosphere) and focuses more on rhythm \u2013 even if <em>\u2018they\u2019re more heartbeats than encouragement to move your body\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Horizons <\/em><\/strong>is a (digital-only) release on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theslowmusicmovement.org\/\">The Slow Music Movement<\/a><\/em>, a label that grew from a radio show and \u2018recommendation service\u2019 (a description that also fits Ambientblog, by the way).
