<\/a><\/div>\n\nWe\u2019ve officially entered the part of summer where I want everything frozen \u2013 namely frozen cocktails.\u00a0 This cocktail is inspired by the snowcone variations I\u2019ve been seeing at some of my favorite bars, including Katana Kitten<\/a> and Dante NYC<\/a> \u2013 and by a classic highball recipe from Rosie Schaap<\/a>.\u00a0 Fresh watermelon pairs gorgeously with the main boozy ingredient in this cocktail –\u00a0 Exotico Tequila Blanco<\/a> \u2013 and the squeeze of fresh lime cuts the sweetness of the syrup perfectly.\u00a0 Could there be a more perfect summery treat?\u00a0 I think not.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \nThis cocktail is super simple and makes a delightful boozy snowcone that is delightful on a hot day.\u00a0 You\u2019ll need to prep the watermelon syrup ahead of time in order to let it cool, and this batch will prepare plenty of syrup for a summer of watermelon tequila snowcones!\u00a0 Enjoy!<\/p>\n Watermelon Tequila Sno-cone<\/u><\/b> Build over shaved ice, and garnish with a squeeze of fresh lime, lime zest, and a small spoon.<\/p>\n \nWatermelon Syrup<\/u><\/b> Cut watermelon into cubes, and puree in a food processor or a blender.\u00a0 Strain into a medium sized pot and add sugar.\u00a0 Simmer on medium heat until the syrup has reduced slightly.\u00a0 Let cool and transfer into glass jars.\u00a0 Will keep in the refrigerator for up to one month. <\/p>\n Enjoy!<\/p>\n<\/a><\/div>\n<\/a><\/div>\n
