Sullins has served as Strong\u2019s Legislative Director since his election to Congress. Prior to this, she worked in Senator Richard Shelby\u2019s office, advancing from intern to legislative assistant, accumulating nearly seven years of Capitol Hill experience. A fifth-generation Huntsville native and Auburn University graduate, Sullins brings a deep understanding of Alabama\u2019s community and legislative process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cElla\u2019s career has been dedicated to the service of our great state,\u201d said Congressman Dale Strong. \u201cShe is one of us \u2013 not only does she understand our community, but she also cares deeply about the success of Alabama. This makes her the perfect choice to be my Chief of Staff, and I look forward to what we will achieve in the days ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Strong also expressed gratitude to outgoing Chief of Staff Payne Griffin for his service. \u201cI want to extend my deepest gratitude to Payne Griffin for his service to my office and many years working on behalf of the State of Alabama. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors,\u201d Strong stated.
