{"id":75167,"date":"2025-02-08T05:54:31","date_gmt":"2025-02-08T05:54:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/aerospace\/boeing-predicts-fourfold-growth-in-india-south-asias-fleet\/"},"modified":"2025-02-08T05:54:31","modified_gmt":"2025-02-08T05:54:31","slug":"boeing-predicts-fourfold-growth-in-india-south-asias-fleet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=75167","title":{"rendered":"Boeing predicts fourfold growth in India, South Asia\u2019s fleet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Boeing predicts that the number of commercial airplanes in India and South Asia will almost quadruple over\u00a0the next 20 years, following steady growth during\u00a0the past 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On February 6, 2025, Boeing shared that this growth will be \u201cfueled by greater demand and a rise in the region\u2019s air traffic.\u201d According to Boeing\u2019s Commercial Market Outlook (CMO), the fleet is expected to increase\u00a0more than 7% annually through to 2043.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs our CMO shows, people will have greater access to air travel, and the region\u2019s airlines will require a modern fuel-efficient fleet to meet increased demand over the next two decades,\u201d said Ashwin Naidu, Managing Director of Commercial Marketing for India and South Asia at Boeing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From 2024 to 2043, India and South Asia are expected to receive 2,835 commercial aircraft. This number includes less than 10 regional jets, 2,445 single-aisle aircraft, 370 widebody aircraft, and 20 freighters.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s predicted that domestic air travel will remain the \u201clargest and fastest-growing segment\u201d in India\u2019s travel market, the CMO read.
