<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nLF58 \u2013 RADIALS<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\nAstral Industries<\/a>\u2018<\/em> releases are easy to recognize by their album covers, all created by Theo Ellsworth<\/em>. But not just that \u2013 all of the (now 38) releases seem to share their artistic vision. There may of course be different aspects from different artists \u2013 the music may vary from Fourth-World-like sounds to rather psychedelic soundscapes \u2013 but still it seems that if you like one, you\u2019ll probably like them all. Also, none of their titles are released as CD \u2013 they are only available on vinyl or digitally.<\/p>\nLF58<\/em><\/strong>, the ambient duo of Giuseppe Tillieci <\/em>and Filippo Scorcucchi<\/em> now released their third album on this label. Radials<\/em><\/strong>, named after the Roman artist group Sbagliato\u2019s contribution to the 2023 Venice Biennale Architettura. Sbagliato proposed Radials, \u2018a spatial transformation of the renovations of the historic sixteenth-century building [the Fondaco dei Tedeschi<\/a>] that would blur the lines between fiction and the real\u2019<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\nLF58 <\/em>translated this visual concept into sound in a (quadraphonic!) concert at the Fondaco in October 2023. This album is the recording of that liveset. <\/p>\n\u2018The opening scene of running waters and the cacophony of the bustling city streets quickly dissolves under the chiming of nearby bells, as hidden liminal spaces become revealed. It\u2019s not long before all remnants of the ordinary are left behind, as the listener is submerged into the shimmering frequencies of parallel dimensions.\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
