The Turkish commercial aviation industry is living through a booming era.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The country\u2019s airlines have seen record growth across the board, with market leader and flag carrier Turkish Airlines consolidating its position as the world\u2019s top global airline, flying to more international destinations than any other carrier.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This relentless expansion has been backed by a massive investment in aircraft and equipment: between 2006 and 2025, Turkish Airlines\u2019 fleet expanded from 100 to 500 aircraft. In the eight years leading up to 2033, 300 additional aircraft are expected to join its fleet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A complex, around-the-clock operation of this nature can only be sustained with the backing of extraordinarily robust technical support capabilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This close link between the two companies, however, doesn\u2019t prevent Turkish Technic from providing its services to other airlines from all over the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

To be fair, describing Turkish Technic as a mere maintenance, repair and overhaul provider wouldn\u2019t be entirely accurate, since the company takes pride in being a one-stop shop able to provide a whole array of comprehensive solutions for airlines, lessors and operators worldwide.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aside from maintaining one of the world\u2019s fastest-growing fleets, Turkish Technic also provides maintenance for numerous other leading airlines, lessors and operators worldwide. It serves a diverse global customer base, providing high-quality maintenance solutions to carriers across Europe, Asia, Africa and beyond.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The list is long: it can provide aircraft maintenance services, whether for regular checks or in response to emergencies and unexpected situations. Turkish Technic is active in component maintenance as well, boasting expertise in the handling of over 16,000 different components for both Airbus and Boeing aircraft, and it also undertakes component pooling, modifications, aircraft painting, engineering, and systems integration.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Just as geography has helped Turkish Airlines build one of the world\u2019s largest and most efficient airline hubs, so Turkish Technic benefits from this same strategic advantage. The fact that no less than 66 different countries are located within a five-hour flight of Turkish Technic\u2019s facilities in three major Turkish cities \u2013 \u0130stanbul, Ankara and Ayd\u0131n \u2013 facilitates fast and convenient access to a large number of operators.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When it comes to components maintenance, Turkish Technic boasts about being able to deliver its services to 87% of the world within two days, minimizing downtime and maximizing the operational efficiency of its customer\u2019s fleets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And in a world that is desperately short of MRO capacity, Turkish Technic brings to the table the capacity to operate at scale: it counts with over 8,300 highly qualified technicians and 15 hangars covering a total of 650,000 m\u00b2, with multiple supporting facilities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

As of early 2025, Turkish Technic is able to provide simultaneous maintenance services for 61 aircraft, but this capacity will soon be augmented by the addition of a new hangar at Istanbul Airport (IST) which will effectively double the firm\u2019s maintenance capacity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All of this leads to Turkish Technic maintaining a reputation as a one of the industry leaders in this field, providing component maintenance for over 120,000 components each year, base maintenance for over 600 aircraft annually, and line maintenance for more than 6,000 aircraft every year.
