This means Peppermint\/Litera can create a customised, legally-tailored front end DMS, with Microsoft Graph in the back end. Microsoft consultants at the time Embedded was launched called it a paradigm shift in the debate over whether SharePoint will be adopted as a DMS among large law firms. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">What is certain in the near term is this acquisition significantly expands Litera\u2019s CRM portfolio, which will see clients of Foundation and Upper Sigma \u2013 earlier Litera acquisitions \u2013 seek clarification in terms of what the roadmap looks like, particularly as Upper Sigma is built on the Salesforce platform.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"legal-in-content\" id=\"legal-1881823293\">\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"legal-1863399118\" data-legal-trackid=\"56076\" data-legal-trackbid=\"1\" class=\"legal-target\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/legaltechnology.com\/2025\/02\/06\/breaking-news-litera-acquires-uk-microsoft-isv-for-law-firms-peppermint-technology\/mailto:helen@legaltechnology.com\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"adv-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"elevate your brand (7)\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/legaltechnology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/elevate-your-brand-7.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/legaltechnology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/elevate-your-brand-7.png 582w, https:\/\/legaltechnology.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/elevate-your-brand-7-300x82.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 582px) 100vw, 582px\" width=\"582\" height=\"160\" style=\"display: inline-block;\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">A spokesperson for Litera said: \u201c<\/span>This acquisition allows us to expand our CRM portfolio to better serve customers who prefer operating within the Microsoft\u00a0ecosystem. While we will focus much of our go-to-market efforts on Peppermint, we remain\u00a0fully committed to supporting existing Upper Sigma customers. There will be no degradation in service, and there are no end-of-life plans for Upper Sigma at this time.\u00a0Our priority is to continue building value in service of our long-term relationship with both Upper Sigma and Peppermint customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeppermint and Litera Foundation will offer a unified Legal BD &amp; Intelligence stack, presented to lawyers in one Outlook add-in and Combining Peppermint with Firm Intelligence creates the single broadest legal-specific marketing and BD offering in the market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/avaneeshmarwaha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Avaneesh Marwaha<\/a>, CEO of Litera said:\u00a0\u201cThe combined offerings from Litera and Peppermint Technology will empower law firms to excel in client engagement and operational efficiency directly in the Microsoft tools they use every day.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">One law firm that has been with Peppermint from very early on in its journey is Blake Morgan.
