{"id":7079076,"date":"2026-10-07T09:39:43","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T09:39:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=7079076"},"modified":"2026-10-07T09:39:43","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T09:39:43","slug":"illegal-immigrant-jailed-over-planned-knife-attack-on-israeli-embassy-in-uk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=7079076","title":{"rendered":"Illegal Immigrant Jailed Over Planned Knife Attack on Israeli Embassy in UK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Chris Summers<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A failed asylum seeker from Kuwait, who climbed over the gates of the Israeli embassy in London armed with two knives was jailed for a minimum of 20 years on Monday, after being convicted of preparing a terrorist act.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abdullah Sabah Albadri, 34, tried to gain entry to the embassy in Kensington, central London, on April 28, 2025, but was stopped by police from the Metropolitan Police\u2019s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command, who were guarding the compound.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Albadri was convicted of one count of preparing a terrorist act and two counts of possession of a pointed or bladed article. He was given a life sentence but was told he would have to serve 20 years, minus time served.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement after Monday\u2019s sentencing, Counter Terrorism Policing said that after he was arrested, they discovered Albadri wanted to attack the Israeli embassy as an act of revenge against the Israeli government\u2019s actions in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Body-worn camera footage from the arresting officers showed that Albadri told them he had weapons on him and wanted to \u201cmake a crime\u201d inside the embassy.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Martyrdom Note<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/world\/us-embassy-in-bahrain-warns-of-pending-iranian-attacks-on-capital-6064510?ea_src=author_manual&amp;ea_med=related_stories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"\/><span style=\"white-space: normal\">He had two knives in his pockets and a note about martyrdom on him when he was arrested. Metropolitan Police<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It emerged during the trial that Albadri had arrived in Britain on a small boat across the English Channel from France, on April 12, 2025\u2014just 16 days before the incident\u2014and claimed asylum.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The attempt to carry out a terrorist attack on the embassy was prevented by officers on duty, who stopped him from breaching the security perimeter, Cmdr. Helen Flanagan, head of Counter Terrorism Policing, London, said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Epoch Times reached out to Albadri\u2019s attorney, Chris Henley, for comment, but did not receive a response by publication time.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heightened Security<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israeli embassies around the world have come under heightened security provisions since Oct. 7, 2023, when Hamas terrorists crossed from the Gaza strip and killed at least 1,200 Israelis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October 2024, three Swedish teenagers were arrested after two explosions occurred near the Israeli embassy in <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/world\/3-swedes-arrested-after-explosions-near-israeli-embassy-in-denmark-5733929\">Copenhagen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two youths\u2014who could not be named under Danish law\u2014were jailed for 12 and 14 years respectively for the attack, in March this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 21, 2025, two Israeli embassy staffers, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/two-israeli-embassy-staffers-shot-in-dc-near-jewish-museum-noem-5861621\">shot<\/a> and killed while leaving an event at a Jewish museum in Washington.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In April 2026, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa\u2019ar said there had been around 30 attacks on Israeli embassies and missions since Oct. 7, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Chris Summers A failed asylum seeker from Kuwait, who climbed over the gates of the Israeli embassy in London armed with two knives was jailed for a minimum of 20 years on Monday, after being convicted of preparing a terrorist act.
