Although we personally enjoyed this pairing, we could see how some of those elements could be off-putting since these are typically more minor notes in a Burgundy- so we could see an alternative pairing being a better option.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Score<\/strong>: 3 \/ 5<\/p>\n<p><em>We&#8217;d buy a glass of this one.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Overall, this is a pretty representative bottle for a solid Burgundy. It has all the hallmark flavors we come to expect from the region; however, we would&#8217;ve appreciated a bit more intensity all arounds given the high alcohol (and the bottle price). But we&#8217;d always be up for a glass of this one!<\/p>\n<p><em>Domaine Esmonin is located in Burgundy, France.
