Three people have been booked in connection with the alleged bribery case.<\/p>\n<p>The accused are DM&amp;HO <strong>Swarna Kumari<\/strong>, Health Inspector <strong>M. Srinivas<\/strong> and private driver <strong>Madduri Krishnajah<\/strong>, the ACB said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the ACB, Krishnajah allegedly demanded <strong>\u20b92 lakh<\/strong> from a complainant on the instructions of Swarna Kumari and Srinivas. The demand was linked to a private physiotherapy centre.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged payment was sought for returning keys seized from the centre, avoiding further action over its alleged operation without a DM&amp;HO licence, and helping secure a new licence, the ACB said.<\/p>\n<p>During the trap, Krishnajah allegedly accepted <strong>\u20b91 lakh<\/strong>. The ACB said it recovered the amount from his possession. It also alleged that the two officials improperly and dishonestly used their official positions to obtain an undue advantage.<\/p>\n<p>All three accused are being produced before the <strong>I Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases at Nampally<\/strong> for judicial remand.
