The addition of Torrontes to this one really increased the complexity significantly!<\/p>\n\nA Complex Blend from Mendoza<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/p>\nThis Argentinian white blend was pale lemon in color with medium(+) aromas of lemon, pear, elderflower, candied peach, pineapple, white blossom, wet stone, and grass.<\/p>\nOn the palate, it was dry with high acidity and medium alcohol, body, flavor intensity, and finish. We had notes of lemon, lime, pear, peach, elderflower, white blossom, beeswax, wet stone, grapefruit, pineapple, and gooseberry. We both independently described the flavor profile as tutti frutti simply because it was a fruit bomb that rounded out nicely with the floral elements.<\/p>\nNormally we’re not too big of fans of Torrontes when it is on its own as a varietal bottle, but for this one it really helped increase the complexity in all the best ways. Yes, there were floral notes.
