Barcelona\u2019s attacking firepower<\/a> is the talk of the town in club football this season, and rightfully so given the explosive results they have produced week in and week out.<\/p>\n

Massive tests await the team after the break, but if the progress of the season so far is taken into account, the Catalans have been simply immaculate.<\/p>\n

With Raphinha and Lamine Yamal in sensational form and the likes of Anthony Gordon, Gabriel Jesus and Karim Adeyemi all fitting in perfectly, the club have not had to break a sweat in the final third at any point so far.<\/p>\n

As relayed in a recent update by\u00a0MARCA<\/a>, Barcelona\u2019s goalscoring numbers this season are simply unheard of, and miles ahead of all competition both in a domestic sense and in terms of Europe\u2019s top five leagues.<\/p>\n

In seven league games so far, Barcelona have already scored 31 goals and thus average 4.4 goals per game in what comes as a staggering number.<\/p>\n

Domestically, the next closest team is none other than Real Madrid who stand on 2.5 goals per game. Atletico Madrid, with 2.2, stand third, and Barcelona are thus virtually double as potent as their competitors.<\/p>\n

The report also details how no team in any of Europe\u2019s top five leagues has an average superior to Barcelona\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich, who sit on an average of 3.5 goals per game, are Barcelona\u2019s nearest competitors, but they too are almost a whole goal behind on average.<\/p>\n

In the Premier League, Brighton are averaging 3.2 goals per game and lead in that statistic while Inter Milan top Serie A\u2019s charts with an average of 3 goals per game.<\/p>\n

Barcelona\u2019s attack, in that sense, seems completely invincible and Hansi Flick and Co. can only get better. With the likes of PSG and Real Madrid ahead later this month, they will be keen on maintaining that average despite the tough clashes.<\/p>\n

With Anthony Gordon also finding his goalscoring boots in the ongoing international break, the wreckage could get nastier in the weeks to come.
