For those not familiar with this brand, it\u2019s one of those celebrity backed spirits that seem to be all the rage these days. The celebrity behind this particular brand of whiskey is legendary singer\/songwriter, Bob Dylan. In his own words\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>I wanted to create a collection of American Whiskeys that, in their own way, tell a story. I\u2019ve been traveling for decades, and I\u2019ve been able to try some of the best whiskey spirits that the world has to offer. This is great whiskey.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The expression that we\u2019ll be discussing today is from their Bootleg series. To be more precise, we\u2019ll be discussing Volume VI. Here\u2019s what they say about it <a href=\"https:\/\/buy.heavensdoor.com\/products\/bootleg-series-volume-vi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on their website<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>Released in December 2024, Bootleg Volume VI is the latest edition in this acclaimed Bootleg Series.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>Aged for 12 years, this limited-edition wheated straight bourbon is finished in air-dried, lightly toasted Limousin cigar barrels\u2014reminiscent of those traditionally used for Brazilian aged spirits. Bursting with rich flavors, this unique finish delivers a dynamic tasting experience as captivating as Dylan\u2019s artistic vision.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>Bootleg VI draws inspiration from Bob Dylan\u2019s vibrant painting, Favela Villa Candido, part of his 2015 release, The Brazil Series. This painting depicts Brazil\u2019s favelas and community spirit with textured rusty browns, ochres, and tonal greens and blues evoking the style of C\u00e9zanne\u2014one of Dylan\u2019s favorite Impressionists.
