Everything is clearly laid out, so changing settings or checking renewal dates is quick and simple.

We automatically set up the DNS settings needed to connect your domain to compatible 123 Reg products. That means less time configuring and more time getting your idea online.

Send visitors from your domain to any web address you choose. For example, point your-big-idea.co.uk to your Instagram page, a campaign landing page or your Google Business Profile.

Own more than one domain? Search for the name you want, choose an extension — like .co.uk, .com, or 400+ other great domain endings — and add it to your basket.

Is your first choice taken? Try a different extension, add a word that says what you do (like “studio” or “design”), or make the name shorter. Short and memorable domains often work really well anyway.

Once you’ve checked out, you can manage everything from your dashboard and connect your domain to a website or professional email address.

For more, check out: How to Buy and Register a Domain in the UK and How to Choose the Best Domain Ending

You can get a domain free for the first year on select 123 Reg annual plans like Website Builder or Managed WordPress Hosting. Search for the name you want, pick an eligible extension, and add it to your basket with your plan. After the first year, it renews at the standard price for its extension.

For more, read our guide: How to Get a Free Domain Name

Your domain is a great start, and all the essential tools are included free with 123 Reg domain registrations. Just add the extras that fit your plan, when you’re ready.

Get a branded email address that matches your domain (like you@your-big-idea.co.uk) to build trust with customers and partners.

Create a professional website with templates designed for businesses. Choose an annual plan and get a .co.uk or .com domain free for the first year.

Add HTTPS and the padlock icon to your website, so visitors know it’s safe to browse and buy. (Free SSL is already included with eligible 123 Reg hosting plans.)

Help prevent unauthorised changes or transfers, keeping your domain securely under your control.

A domain is more than a web address. With 123 Reg, you get the tools to set it up, protect it and connect it to the services you need. See what you can build with your domain and make more of everything 123 Reg has to offer.

Yes, you can register multiple domain names as you like. Many brands take both the .co.uk and .com version of their name, for example, and point to their preferred one. You can see them all in one place in your dashboard, including renewal dates, so nothing slips through.

The domain itself is free for the first year, as long as you buy it with an eligible annual plan. After that, it renews at the standard price for that extension. You’ll see your renewal date in your dashboard, and you can turn on auto-renew so you never lose your domain by accident.

When you register a domain, your contact details are recorded in a public directory called WHOIS. Domain Privacy keeps your personal details out of that directory, which helps cut down on spam and unwanted contact. See also: What is WHOIS?

No. You can register a domain first and decide what to do with it later. It’s also worth securing your name early, before someone else does. When you’re ready, you can connect it to a website, online store or email address, or forward it to a page you already have.

Your domain is your web address, like your-big-idea.co.uk. Hosting is where your website’s files live. You need both for a working website, but you can buy them separately, and many plans (like Website Builder) bundle them together.

What’s included free with my domain?
