For example, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/collections\/extended-producer-responsibility-for-packaging\">Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)<\/a> places obligations on businesses involved in supplying or importing packaging, while the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/collections\/plastic-packaging-tax\">Plastic Packaging Tax<\/a> applies to certain plastic packaging containing less than 30% recycled plastic.<\/p>\n<p>Consumers are also increasingly interested in where products come from, how they are made and their environmental impact. Businesses therefore need to consider both actual sustainability performance and how they communicate it.
