Now for the pre-breeding.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pages.greenpeaceafrica.org\/seed-project-greenpeace-africa\">Greenpeace Africa\u2019s Seed Project<\/a> makes the case for indigenous seeds as a route to farmer independence. And you can help. <\/li>\n<li>And oh so coincidentally, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/africa\/en\/blog\/61673\/how-this-seed-bank-network-is-rescuing-kenyas-indigenous-seeds\/\">network of community seed banks in Kenya<\/a> is rescuing indigenous seeds so the diversity is still around when opportunity (or crisis) knocks. <\/li>\n<li>Also in Kenya, the national genebank&#8217;s collectors are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-agriculture.com\/seed-industry\/collecting-kenyas-opportunity-crops-searching-for-tomorrows-solutions\/\">racing to secure opportunity crops<\/a>. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/english.onlinekhabar.com\/conserving-indigenous-crops.html\">Nepal\u2019s indigenous crops and landraces<\/a> are at the same time more needed than ever, and under threat.
