Add in the trackpad quirks and F-key frustrations, and you quickly realize Linux doesn\u2019t magically turn your MacBook into a perfect clone of macOS   at least, not out of the box.<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the good news: with a few small tweaks, you can have <strong>all the macOS behaviors you expect<\/strong>, while keeping the full power and customizability of Ubuntu. This post is your ultimate guide.<\/p>\n<h2>Keyboard: Command, Option, Control   Fixed<\/h2>\n<p>By default, Ubuntu treats the MacBook keyboard like any other PC. Here\u2019s how to fix it:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Natural Scrolling:<\/strong> Settings \u2192 Mouse &amp; Touchpad \u2192 Enable <strong>Natural Scrolling<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Tap-to-Click:<\/strong> Settings \u2192 Mouse &amp; Touchpad \u2192 <strong>Tap to click<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gestures (optional):<\/strong> Install touchegg for multi-finger gestures:\n<pre><code>sudo apt install touchegg\ntouchegg &amp;\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>Map three-finger swipe to workspace switch, pinch to zoom, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>F-Key and System Controls<\/h2>\n<p>MacBook function keys control brightness, volume, and media. Out of the box, Linux may require <code>fn<\/code> to trigger them.<\/p>\n<h2>System Polish<\/h2>\n<p>Want your Ubuntu to <strong>look like macOS<\/strong> too?
