The Peoples Person reported on 30 September that Amad has returned to Manchester United group training, offering Michael Carrick a possible attacking boost before Tottenham \u2013 but no return date has been set.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The update marks progress in the Ivorian\u2019s recovery, not confirmation that he is match fit or available for the Premier League fixture. United supporters had already been watching his recovery with Tottenham in mind, and Amad\u2019s potential return against Tottenham<\/a><\/strong> remains a question rather than a settled selection call.<\/p>\n

Group training is progress, not a return date<\/h2>\n

The report says Amad rejoined group work after making positive progress in his recovery. It traces his injury to the build-up to the Hull City game and says he was training with the group on grass.<\/p>\n

The update was attributed to sources including Sully and Roundtable, with UtdDistrict also sharing the training news. Crucially, the report says there is no clear scheduled date for Amad\u2019s return to action. Training alongside teammates is encouraging, but it does not establish that he can take part against Spurs.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s options are being stretched<\/h2>\n

Amad\u2019s progress matters because the same report describes a growing list of concerns during the international break. Bruno Fernandes, Benjamin Sesko, Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui had picked up knocks, while Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford withdrew from the England camp with niggles. Manuel Ugarte and Matthijs de Ligt were also described as long-term absentees.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s wider injury situation<\/a><\/strong> makes another attacking option valuable, but the update offers no guarantee of an immediate solution. The Peoples Person says Bryan Mbeumo has been used out wide, with Matheus Cunha starting up front, and argues Amad\u2019s return could help Carrick put players back into preferred roles.<\/p>\n

Tottenham availability remains uncertain<\/h2>\n

The report\u2019s central caveat matters as much as the training news: Carrick may be short of options before Tottenham, but Amad has not been confirmed for the squad.
