While the Best Judgment Award with Rs 5000 and trophy went to&#13;\nJECRC University, Jaipur (Team 1). 1 st Best Memorial Award with Rs 6000 and a trophy went to&#13;\nICFAI University, Jaipur (Team 1). Best Trial Award with Rs 7000 went to Symbiosis Law&#13;\nSchool, Hyderabad and 2 nd Best Trial Award with Rs 5000 went to Prestige Institute of&#13;\nManagement and Research, Indore. Best Student Counsel with Rs 7000 and a trophy went to Mr.&#13;\nAbhishek Mantri of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore and 2 nd Best with Rs&#13;\n5000 and a trophy went to Ms. Sahanya of Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad.&#13;\nThe prize distribution and valedictory function of National Trial Advocacy and Judgment&#13;\nWriting Competition was concluded in the presence of Hon\u2019ble Dr. Justice Kuashal Jayendra&#13;\nThaker, Gujrat Human Rights Commission (Chief Guest) and Hon\u2019ble Justice K.C. Sharma&#13;\n(Retd., H.C. Judge).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The gathering was addressed by Dr. Justice Kuashal Jayendra Thaker. The Guests in their&#13;\naddress characterized the event as an \u201cinteresting intellectual exercise\u201d for both him and the&#13;\nparticipants. Justice Thaker expressed deep delight in being present at the premises of SSLG.&#13;\nDuring his address, he emphasized three key essentials for succeeding in events and other legal&#13;\nexercises: a comprehensive understanding of the law, knowledge of legal practice, and&#13;\nfamiliarity with legal policy. He highlighted the significance of being fully aware of these&#13;\naspects and underscored their relevance to the field of law. Justice K.C. Sharma lauded the&#13;\nquality and standard of arguments presented by the participants, who are poised to become the&#13;\nyoung leaders of tomorrow. He emphasized that the purpose was to cultivate, enhance,&#13;\nappreciate, honor and reward the trial legal skills amongst our budding lawyers.&#13;\nDr. Sandeep Bakshi, Chancellor of Jaipur National University, said that legal profession is a&#13;\ngentlemen\u2019s profession. Practical training is essential for a law student in order to develop&#13;\nlawyering skills. Conduct is important for a successful career in legal profession. Young lawyers&#13;\nshould strive hard to become good human beings. Dr Bakshi said that the event is to simulate&#13;\nreal Trial Courts scenarios, training participants in legal practices and to promote and sustain&#13;\ncompetitive spirit to ensure the development of advocacy finesse.&#13;\nProf (Dr) Satish C Shashtri, Director of Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur&#13;\nNational University, pointed out that the purpose of the event is to encourage and strengthen&#13;\nstudents\u2019 advocacy skills through quality competition and valuable interaction with members of&#13;\nthe bench and bar. He explained that the event is designed to expose law students to the nature of&#13;\ntrial practice and to serve as a supplement to their education. \u201cThe intent is to provide a&#13;\nmeaningful contribution to the development of future trial lawyers\u201d, Prof Shashtri said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Of the 40 teams, 8 teams \u2013National Forensic Science University, Gandhinagar, Manik Chand&#13;\nPahade Law College, Aurangabad, ICFAI University, Jaipur, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad&#13;\n(Team 1), Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad (Team 2), Symbiosis Law School Pune, Lloyd&#13;\nLaw College, New Delhi and Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, entered the&#13;\nQuarter finals.
