\u00a0On Good Friday, April 15th, we packed up the dog truck to head over and up to Ely for some Easter adventures.<\/p>\n

We even brought and used the skis!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
It snowed a few inches overnight!
Dolly, you better stay close. The truck is being packed.
You don’t want to get left behind!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
The roads were snowy in Houghton County.
As soon as we crossed into Ontonagon County, they
were just wet.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
After a lunch stop in Ashland, the
next stop was After Hours Trails in Brule!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
This is such a nice chalet.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Snow was on the shallow side here,
although other areas were much better.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Now in Ely!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Dolly demanded attention from Grampa
as Wally kept an eye out for squirrels and deer.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
We had to show off our tussling tactics.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Everyone went in the basement so the
pressure was on the puppy to follow. Dolly
says, “This is so, so scary.”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Doesn’t seem to bother Wally none.\u00a0
Guess I should be able to go….
Maybe I can leave my rear paws at the top?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Later, we went to Hidden Valley for a romp.
Good thing me and Wally can’t read!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
We romped on the new bike trail.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

We are practicing out “jump” skills here.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Kinda scary for puppies but it’s old hat for
older, experienced trail mutts.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
There were some thin spots but overall not
bad for snow depth. Although, it was
on the warm and sticky side.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

A particularly shallow spot.
And check out the snow stuck to the bottom of her ski.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

This is such a nice trail system.
Shame it’s not dog friendly.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

After that romp, it’s nap time.
Next up – more Easter fun, including
