Burnham says Britain needs to resolve EU relationship because it can’t afford another decade of post-Brexit drift<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n

In his Today interview, Andy Burnham<\/strong> also said that he thought Britain needed to resolve what its relationship with the EU should be because it could not afford another decade of drift.<\/p>\n

He explained:<\/p>\n

I am saying, let\u2019s be clear about where we want Britain to go in the next decade. And I\u2019ve asked people to join with me on that.<\/p>\n

The country cannot have a decade, another one like the one we\u2019ve just had, where we\u2019ve had too much drift, too much division.<\/p>\n

I am very clear, and I will say this bluntly, Brexit has caused more harm than good and I think around 60% of the British public agree with that statement.<\/p>\n

So the question is what do we do about that?<\/p>\n

And I\u2019m not doing the usual politician thing. I\u2019m being honest about facing up to that, and give people options that they can look at and judge.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
