As Trump\u2019s approval rating sinks to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/donald-trump-approval-rating-hits-all-time-low-12467727\">all-time low<\/a> and his price-hiking agenda <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/09\/22\/upshot\/hispanic-voters-midterm-elections.html\">hemorrhages<\/a> support from his own voters, Republicans are seeing the writing on the wall and are scrambling to jump off Trump\u2019s sinking ship before November.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across the country, vulnerable Republicans are trying to hide any ties to Trump\u2019s deeply unpopular agenda, from scrubbing their websites and recording cringy videos, to changing their tune on some of the same reckless policies that they proudly defended up until now.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Let\u2019s be clear:<\/strong> No amount of backpeddling can hide the truth that Trump and Republicans embroiled us into a costly and unnecessary war no one asked for, ripped away Americans\u2019 healthcare, and jacked up costs so high that families can\u2019t even afford basic essentials. Yet, some of the same Republican candidates suddenly breaking rank with Trump are the ones who have repeatedly \u2014 and <em>still<\/em> \u2014 vote in favor of his harmful agenda. In just a few weeks, voters will enter the ballot box ready to hold Republicans accountable for making their lives more expensive.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Take a look at the growing list of Republican candidates who are desperately attempting to distance themselves from Trump:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Rep.
