The perfect weather for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes!<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of S<i>ideways <\/i>the Oscar-winning wine-lovers comedy was filmed all around these parts just over 20 years ago and you\u2019ll find ties to Tinseltown here, everywhere you go.<\/p>\n<p>Especially at the house built by one of Walt Disney\u2019s favorite \u201chuman actors\u201d Fess Parker Winery and Vineyard. Sideways nostalgia may get you in the door, but the farm-to-table experience will keep you coming back.<\/p>\n<p>We go in the kitchen at The Hitching Post 2 which is literally the spot that inspired author Rex Pickett to set his novel, \u2018Sideways\u2019 in the world of wine.<\/p>\n<p>After that it\u2019s off to feeding Ostriches at Ostrichland USA. We close our episode with a sweet treat, traditional Danish pastry making in Solvang.
