Rather than saddling up to the Murder Table for this review, we took advantage of the warm weather and instead took our seats at The Barthenon.<\/p>\n<p>Normal people have kitchen islands and outdoor patios. We\u2019re not normal. And we have a name for everything!<\/p>\n<p>The first Joseph Magnus we\u2019ll be tasting is called <a href=\"https:\/\/josephmagnus.com\/spirits\/murray-hill-club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Murray Hill Club<\/a>. Here\u2019s what they have to say about it:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><em>A true bourbon blend crafted using the same techniques Joseph Magnus used to create this original pre-Prohibition spirit more than 100 years ago. Artfully marries 18 and 11-year-old bourbon with 9-year-old light whiskey to deliver notes of butterscotch, honey, toffee, autumnal baking spices, vanilla, and char, with a hint of black pepper that lingers through a softly spiced and toasted finish.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We really enjoyed the <a href=\"https:\/\/boozedancing.com\/2025\/07\/02\/joesph-magnus-straight-bourbon-whiskey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joseph Magnus Bourbon we reviewed a couple of months ago<\/a>, so we were very optimistic going into this tasting.
