Members of the community\u2019s <strong>Shakthiman group<\/strong> acquired the laddu.<\/p>\n<p>The winning bid was lower than the previous year\u2019s auction at the same community. A Ganesha laddu there fetched <strong>\u20b92.31 crore<\/strong> last year.<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>Balapur<\/strong>, the 21-kilogram Ganesh laddu sold for a record <strong>\u20b939 lakh<\/strong>, an increase of \u20b94 lakh from last year\u2019s \u20b935 lakh. The community has held the auction tradition since 1994.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sama Praneeth Reddy<\/strong> of <strong>Urban Group<\/strong> won the Balapur auction after bidding that included local participants and an NRI. Proceeds from the auction will go towards local development and welfare.<\/p>\n<p>Among Hyderabad\u2019s gated communities, <strong>Kohinoor by Auro Realty<\/strong> in HITEC City recorded the highest reported bid at <strong>\u20b930.50 lakh<\/strong>. It was followed by <strong>My Home Bhooja<\/strong> at \u20b925 lakh.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My Home Mangala<\/strong> in Kondapur fetched \u20b921.11 lakh, with the winning bid placed jointly by <strong>Sambasiva Rao<\/strong> and <strong>Naveen<\/strong>. Other reported bids included \u20b913.66 lakh at <strong>Raghupathi County<\/strong> in Pragathi Nagar, around \u20b913 lakh to \u20b913.5 lakh at <strong>Nellore Labodara<\/strong> and <strong>Indis Viva City<\/strong>, and \u20b910.05 lakh at <strong>Devisthan Homes<\/strong> in Kukatpally.<\/p>\n<p>In many community laddu auctions, proceeds support charity, community welfare or arrangements for the following year\u2019s festival.
