\nDEFILE THE LAND<\/span><\/b><\/p>\nKEY VERSE:
\nLeviticus 18:27,28<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\u201c(For all these abominations have the men of the land
\ndone, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) That the land spue not
\nyou out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before
\nyou.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\nTEXT: Leviticus
\n18:17-30<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n17. Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and
\nher daughter, neither shalt thou take her son\u2019s daughter, or her daughter\u2019s
\ndaughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen; it is
\nwickedness.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n18. Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex
\nher, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n19. Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover

\ncommit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before
\nyou, and that ye defile not yourselves therein; I am the LORD your God.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\nMESSAGE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\nTwo evil friends who specialised in robbing accident
\nvictims enjoyed their \u201cvocation\u201d for some time. They usually rushed to accident
\nsites and while the victims struggled between life and death, they dispossess
\nthem of their valuables \u2013 money, etc. But one night, a strange thunder struck
\nand killed them both. The land \u201cspued\u201d them out of it.<\/span><\/p>\nThe occupants of the land of Canaan had defiled the land
\nwith evil practices. Their iniquity had blossomed and multiplied. The judgment
\nof God came on them as they were rooted out and replaced with Israel.<\/span><\/p>\nThe earth does not operate independently of the righteous
\nlaws of God; there are natural laws such as the law of sowing and reaping,
\nwhich often plays out in all spheres of a man\u2019s life. \u201cWoe to him that coveteth
\nan evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high\u2026 For the
\nstone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer
\nit\u201d (Habakkuk 2:9-11). Unbridled quest for sins has pervaded the modern
\nsocieties. All forms of evil \u2013 robbery, rape, ritual killings, kidnapping,
\nbanditry, embezzlement, etc. are so common these days.<\/span><\/p>\nBut does the sinner today know that the horrors of hell
\nmust be avoided? Does he know that there is a lake that burneth with fire and
\nbrimstone \u201cwhere their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched\u201d; where
\nthose who die in sin will live all eternity? Most persons, even those who
\nprofess to read the Bible, still do not believe this truth. The truth is that
\nanyone who dies with any unforgiven sins will certainly be sent into
\neverlasting fire. The way out is to repent from all sin and receive Jesus as
\nLord and personal Saviour.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\nTHOUGHT FOR
