Elgie Rañosa’s day does not really end when she leaves the laboratory.

As a lab manager in a clinic in Legazpi City, Albay, she still has patients to communicate with and work to attend to even at home. Her grandchildren may also need help with school projects, and when there is finally time to slow down, she might watch TV or movies, browse Facebook, or catch up on the news.

Elgie Rañosa, a laboratory manager and Converge Super FiberX subscriber from Legazpi City, Albay

The internet has become part of all these things, so having a connection she can rely on matters to her and her family.

Before switching to Converge, she experienced frequent connection problems with her previous provider. She discovered Converge through social media and was drawn to Super FiberX because it offered both internet and cable television. “Parang makakamura ako kasi may internet na, meron pang cable,” she said.

Since switching, one of the things Elgie appreciates is how easily she can get online when she gets home. Her phone is connected immediately, and she can check Messenger, where she keeps in touch with patients and responds to queries.

For Elgie, chatting through Messenger is part of how she stays on top of things without having to spend extra on mobile load.

“Kasi uso na ngayon ang Messenger. Kung wala kang Internet, hindi ka makakagamit ng Messenger,” she said. “Lalo hindi naman ako nagde-data kasi bakit gagastos pa ako kung meron naman nang internet?”

The same connection that lets her answer a patient can later be used by her grandchildren for a school project, then by Elgie herself for some entertainment.

That is also how Super FiberX fits into their household. An upgraded version of FiberX, Super FiberX combines high-speed fiber internet with features for more enriching entertainment such as a WiFi 6-powered modem, access to SkyTV, and the Google-certified Android TV box called Xperience Hub. Plans offer speeds from up to 200 Mbps to 1 Gbps.

For Elgie and her family, these features complement the ways they use connectivity. Because of the dependable connection it offers, she can now easily balance her demanding work schedule with time to relax.

That is why, when people ask her what internet service she uses, she already knows what to tell them.

“Para sa’kin, highly recommended ko ang Converge. May mga nagtatanong sa akin, ‘Ano ba ang internet mo?’ [Sinasabi ko,] ‘Converge. Du’n ka na lang. Hindi pa nagla-lag. Madali pa silang kausapin.’”

Her experience also reflects a broader picture of the network performance of Converge.

For the first half of 2026, Converge swept the top honors in the Speedtest Intelligence report of Ookla®, the global authority in broadband and mobile network testing. Based on Ookla’s consumer-initiated tests conducted during the period, Converge dominated all major fixed-broadband metrics, earning the “Best Internet,” “Fastest Internet,” and “Best Fixed Latency” recognitions for January to June 2026.
