Noosa<\/a> is definitely one of our favourite Australian destinations<\/a> to holiday. Whether it\u2019s just for a weekend or a longer stay, we love heading to Noosa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of those destinations that is an easy option to get to and the moment you are there, it\u2019s relaxation time.<\/p>\n

WHERE TO STAY<\/h3>\n

We generally stay beachfront at Seahaven Noosa<\/a>. They are spacious apartments right on Noosa Main Beach<\/a> with views to the Headland<\/a> and right up to Double Island Point<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If I am travelling without the kids, the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort<\/a> is also great and their poolside cabanas are very chilled and a great place to spend an afternoon relaxing.<\/p>\n

OUT AND ABOUT<\/h3>\n

There is so much to do in Noosa and naturally swimming and surfing are always on the agenda!<\/p>\n

Noosa is home to the Noosa Summer Swim<\/a> event in February which we love to be a part of.<\/p>\n

Noosa is also a world surfing reserve famous for its surfing breaks so its always great to get on a longboard and enjoy surfing their famous points.<\/p>\n

01. PARK THAT THOUGHT<\/h5>\n

The Noosa National Park<\/a> is one of the must-do walks or runs when in Noosa. Head straight onto the Boardwalk from Noosa Main Beach<\/a> and enjoy the boardwalk right up to the park.<\/p>\n

The Noosa National Park has a series of tracks; coastal and inland that are just beautiful.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s always a chance of seeing dolphins off the coastal track and if you time your visit right, you are likely to see whales as they migrate north for the season.<\/p>\n

02. \u2018SHORE\u2019 THING<\/h5>\n

The Noosa River foreshore<\/a> is a really great place to explore. Whether it\u2019s a run along the boardwalk, having a picnic or BBQ with the family and friends or hiring a boat and discovering Noosa\u2019s waterways.<\/p>\n

Just five minutes from Hastings Street<\/a>, it\u2019s a great place to visit and there is also some great restaurants and cafes there along the terrace as well.<\/p>\n

My two favourite eateries in Noosa are Light Years<\/a> and Thomas Corner Eatery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Hastings Street, you can\u2019t go past Massimo Gelateria<\/a> for a brilliant ice-cream.<\/p>\n

05. A NOOSA INSTITUTION<\/h5>\n

Bistro C<\/a> beachfront is one of those iconic restaurants that is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole family.<\/p>\n
