The migration usually takes place between July and October, when the wildebeests cross the Mara River, braving crocodile-infested waters and facing the constant threat of predators. The sight of thousands of wildebeests running across the plains is truly awe-inspiring and a testament to the resilience of nature.<\/p>\n

There are a number of great places to stay in Amboseli.\u00a0 Kati and I have stayed in a few but have no real recommendations.\u00a0 Find a good mid-level camp preferably with a view of Kilimanjaro.<\/p>\n
