In 2025, Hamilton extended its reach into the entertainment world, establishing a partnership with the <\/span><em>Call of Duty<\/em><span> interactive video game franchise. The first collaborative release, a Khaki Field Auto model inspired by the <\/span><em>Call of Duty: Black Ops 7<\/em><span><em> <\/em>game, debuted that same year, and this week, Hamilton has released its follow-up: the Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm Modern Warfare 4 edition, the first timepiece in the series with a hand-wound movement.<\/span><b\/><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0278\/9723\/3501\/files\/Hamilton-Khaki-Modern-Warfare-flat-2.jpg?v=1789668852\" alt=\"hamilton khaki field call of duty\" style=\"margin-bottom: 16px; float: none;\"\/><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>The watch is based on the one worn by Captain Price, one of the most recognizable characters in <\/span><em>Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4,<\/em><span> and, as per Price\u2019s background in the U.K.\u2019s armed forces, takes stylistic cues from British-issued General Service watches. The stainless steel case measures 38mm in diameter and 9.5mm thick and sports a sandblasted black PVD finish for a tactical \u201cstealth\u201d look. The dial is also black, with a rugged grained texture that enforces its field-ready design, and incorporates the game\u2019s familiar numeral \u201c4\u201d at 4 o\u2019clock, in a typography distinct from that of the other Arabic numeral markers. The hands and hour markers are all coated in X2 Super-LumiNova for a bright glow during night missions (or just civilian evening excursions).<\/span><b\/><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0278\/9723\/3501\/files\/Hamilton-Khaki-Field-Modern-Warfare-lume-2.jpg?v=1789668874\" alt=\"hamilton khaki field call of duty\" style=\"margin-bottom: 16px; float: none;\"\/><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>The solid caseback also features iconography from the game, specifically an engraved version of the \u201csoundwave\u201d graphic element that has come to be heavily associated with the Call of Duty series. Behind that distinctive caseback beats Hamilton\u2019s mechanical, manually wound Caliber H-50, which is equipped with a hacking seconds function \u2014 a useful feature if you\u2019re actually using the watch to time a military op \u2014 as well as a magnetic-resistant Nivachron balance spring. The movement\u2019s hand-winding operation is a throwback to the earliest Hamilton field watches, in the wartime years before the widespread adoption of self-winding watches, while its 80-hour power reserve is decidedly modern.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0278\/9723\/3501\/files\/Hamilton-Khaki-Field-Modern-Warfare-back-2.jpg?v=1789668895\" alt=\"hamilton khaki field call of duty\" style=\"margin-bottom: 16px; float: none;\"\/><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>The case of the Hamilton <a href=\"https:\/\/teddybaldassarre.com\/blogs\/watches\/hamilton-khaki-field\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Khaki Field <\/a>Mechanical Modern Warfare 4 edition (Ref. H69469930) is water resistant to 50 meters, with a nonreflective sapphire crystal over the dial. It comes mounted on a khaki-green textile strap, with a black-PVD-coated steel pin buckle, which completes the watch\u2019s rugged ensemble.
