Especially with Practical Magic 2 opening this week on September 10th. So very exciting, plus it is getting to be that time of year again that I start to crave those \u201cMidnight Margaritas\u201d so of course I am sharing my super easy recipe with you guys. Not only is this recipe also perfect for Cinco De Mayo, but I tend to drink my Marg\u2019s all year long! Although I have been know to add in the Mezcal lately in lieu of tequila just my own personal twist; and new specialty of the house is a Mezcal Old Fashion- my new all time favorite, stay tuned!<\/p>\n

Since this post always reminds me of Practical Magic,<\/a> another seasonal favorite. Which has now become a huge meme; when the ladies decide to have a few Midnight Margaritas, dance and talking smack around the kitchen table, which just seems like the best ladies night ever! Not to mention\u2026..I have heard, which is common knowledge now; while filming that particular scene, the actresses really partook in those famous Margaritas for a more \u201cauthentic\u201d film take. I say bravo ladies! So now, I feel like ladies everywhere are making Midnight Margaritas by the blender full these days in celebration of sisterhood, whether you are related or not, because a little witch resides in all of us, wink.![\"Midnight](\"https:\/\/jenron-designs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Midnight-Margaritas-JENRON-DESIGNS-7-scaled.jpg\")
What makes a perfect margarita? Well I feel like that question is subjective as there are so many great variations and recipes out there, wouldn\u2019t you agree? I mean I personally have not met a Margarita that I don\u2019t like to be honest as they are one of my favorite drinks. Today I am just talking about a\u00a0 basic fresh lemon juice margarita, nothing she she or fancy foo foo, although I love those too. Just a simple clean basic Margarita, like you are on the beach Tulum or Cabo and this is what the local bartender is making for you.\u00a0 ![\"Midnight](\"https:\/\/jenron-designs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Midnight-Margaritas-JENRON-DESIGNS-6-scaled.jpg\")
To make the best margarita mix, all you really need are these three basic margarita ingredients:<\/p>\n\n- Tequila or Mezcal<\/span><\/strong>\u2013 I use a 100% agave Reposado Silver which is traditionally considered to be the best tequila for margaritas. However, you can use any type of tequila; or I like a smoky Mezcal will make a fun variation mixed with jalapenos and a Tarjin rim; or even Amarena<\/span> Cherries and Orange Bitters- again my favorite.\u00a0<\/li>\n
- Orange Liqueur<\/span><\/strong>\u2013 Grand Marnier, Cointreau or Triple Sec are all delicious options you can use as an Orange Liqueur. I personally use Grand Marnier or Cointreau in my margaritas regularly.<\/li>\n
- Fresh Lime Juice<\/strong>\u2013<\/span> \u00a0I highly recommend juicing your own limes for the best flavor versus buying a store bought lime juice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Here is what you need per glass:<\/p>\n
\n- 1 1\/2 oz 100% Agave S<\/span>ilver Tequila<\/li>\n
- 1 oz<\/span> Orange Liqueur (Grand Marnier, Cointreau or Triple Sec)<\/li>\n
- 3\/4<\/span> oz\u00a0freshly-squeezed lime juice<\/li>\n
- Simple syrup, to taste (optional) 1 Tbsp sugar to 2 Tbsp water dissolved<\/li>\n
- Lime Slices<\/li>\n
- Coarse Salt to rim the glass (optional) and over the left shoulder for luck

I like to chill mine in the refrigerator as I find ice will water done the flavors too much for my taste. Serve these up with some fresh Chip & Salsa, Tacos, or homemade Nachos for the perfect little patio fiesta, or a midnight snack! Not only is this recipe also perfect for Cinco De Mayo, but I tend to drink my Marg\u2019s all year long! So now, I feel like ladies everywhere are making Midnight Margaritas by the blender full these days in celebration of sisterhood, whether you are related or not, because a little witch resides in all of us, wink.What makes a perfect margarita? Well I feel like that question is subjective as there are so many great variations and recipes out there, wouldn\u2019t you agree? I mean I personally have not met a Margarita that I don\u2019t like to be honest as they are one of my favorite drinks. Today I am just talking about a\u00a0 basic fresh lemon juice margarita, nothing she she or fancy foo foo, although I love those too. Just a simple clean basic Margarita, like you are on the beach Tulum or Cabo and this is what the local bartender is making for you.\u00a0 To make the best margarita mix, all you really need are these three basic margarita ingredients:<\/p>\n\n
