    1. Start with small numbers: Begin by teaching your child to count from 1 to 10. Once they have mastered this, gradually increase the numbers to 20, 30, and so on.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. Use visual aids: Use objects such as counting bears or blocks to help your child visualize the numbers they are learning. It\u2019s easier if everything in the group is the same, such as beans, spoons, counters.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. Practice counting aloud: Encourage your child to say the numbers out loud as they count, this will help them to learn the correct pronunciation and how numbers sound.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Start by counting things in a line \u2013 this makes it easier to keep track of what has already been counted. Once confident, arrange the objects in a square or zig-zag. And finally, scatter them. Encourage them to keep track of what has been counted by placing them to one side, or marking on paper.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. Repeat and review: Repetition is key when learning to count. Review numbers frequently to ensure that your child is retaining the information.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. Model the correct order of counting words: \u201cOne, two, three. There are 3 in all.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    6. Make it fun: Incorporate counting into daily activities, such as counting steps while walking or counting items while grocery shopping.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
