If you\u2019re in town, stop by and say hello.<\/p>\n<p>But before we take off, the NTSB released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flightradar24.com\/blog\/flight-tracking-news\/major-incident\/21-air-767-overruns-runway-on-landing-in-miami\/\">partial summary of the cockpit voice recorder<\/a> from the 21 Air 767 that overran the runway in Miami. Far from providing clarity, the summary only adds to the questions raised about the pilots\u2019 actions in the final minutes of the flight.<\/p>\n<p>A<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flightradar24.com\/blog\/flight-tracking-news\/major-incident\/n358tv-news-helicopter-crash-los-angeles\/\"> news helicopter<\/a> covering a fatal car collision crashed in Los Angeles, killing the pilot and reporter onboard the aircraft, as well as one person on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia Senators Time Kaine and Mark Warner have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaine.senate.gov\/press-releases\/kaine-and-warner-unveil-legislation-to-reduce-traffic-improve-safety-at-dca\">introduced a bill to limit flights at DCA<\/a> in Washington DC. We discuss why the DCA Air Safety Act has a long, uphill battle for passage.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/files.gao.gov\/reports\/GAO-26-107992\/index.html?_gl=1*9qwekl*_ga*MTYxODE3MDQ3OC4xNzg5NTg2NzU2*_ga_V393SNS3SR*czE3ODk1OTAzOTQkbzIkZzAkdDE3ODk1OTAzOTQkajYwJGwwJGgw\">GAO report<\/a> on the FAA\u2019s recent push to modernize the nation\u2019s air traffic control systems calls for greater cost and schedule planning, noting that there are 11,389 individual project schedules.<\/p>\n<p>And you\u2019re going to be hearing a lot about \u201ccapacity\u201d over the next few months.
