Yoto has only just launched the new Yoto Player 4th Gen and Yoto Mini 4th Gen<\/strong>, so there are now several things to watch: deals on the new generation, reductions on previous-generation players, bundles and accessories. It\u2019s worth noting that the Gen 4 Yoto Player isn\u2019t due to be released until mid October.<\/p>\n At the moment, Yoto-specific Prime Big Deal Days offers have not yet been confirmed<\/strong>. I\u2019ll update this post as soon as I spot any deals going live. There\u2019s no guarantee that there will be any deals on Yoto. What I do know is that there have been in previous years. <\/p>\n Prime Big Deal Days 2026 dates vary by country.<\/strong> In the UK and US, the event takes place on 6th\u20137th October 2026<\/strong>, while Amazon Australia\u2019s event runs for seven days from 29th September\u20135th October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re considering a Yoto for Christmas, this gives you an early opportunity to compare prices before we reach the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales later in the year.<\/p>\n Prime Big Deal Days offers are for Amazon Prime members<\/a><\/strong>, so make sure your membership is active if you plan to shop the event.<\/p>\n Current status: Yoto Prime Big Deal Days offers have not yet been announced.<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ll update this section with the best Yoto offers I find as we get closer to 6th October and throughout the event itself. I\u2019ll be watching in particular for savings on Yoto Players, Yoto Minis, bundles and accessories<\/strong>, as well as comparing Amazon prices against buying directly from Yoto.<\/p>\n It\u2019s also worth remembering that stock levels can change quickly during big sale events. If a particular colour, player or bundle is important to you, don\u2019t assume it will necessarily remain available for the full two days.<\/p>\n For offers available outside of Amazon, I regularly update my Yoto deals, discount codes and where to buy a Yoto Player<\/a> <\/strong>page with the latest promotions I spot.<\/p>\n This is going to be a particularly interesting Amazon Prime event because the Yoto range has just changed quite significantly. The new Yoto Player 4th Gen and Yoto Mini 4th Gen launched in September 2026<\/strong> (dispatch of Yoto Mini end of September and Yoto Player mid October), bringing several updates including the new Green Button, increased storage and updated hardware.<\/p>\n The Green Button is the feature that interests me most. It lets you set up a collection of favourite audio that your child can access without needing to choose and insert individual Yoto Cards. For us, anything that reduces decisions and friction around bedtime is a real positive. I can also see it being incredibly useful when travelling. Depending on the discounts available, the best value may not necessarily be the newest player. A substantial saving on a previous-generation Yoto could make it a very attractive choice, particularly if the new Gen 4 features aren\u2019t especially important to your family. Rather than looking only at the percentage discount, I\u2019ll be comparing the actual price, generation, accessories included and overall value of each deal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We don\u2019t know yet. I wouldn\u2019t assume that the newly released Yoto Player 4th Gen or Yoto Mini 4th Gen will be included in Amazon\u2019s October promotion. They are very new products, so we\u2019ll need to wait and see what happens.<\/p>\n However, even if there isn\u2019t a significant reduction on the new Gen 4 players themselves, Prime Big Deal Days could still be interesting if Amazon discounts previous-generation Yotos, bundles or accessories. I\u2019ll update this section as soon as we know more.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re planning to buy a Yoto for Christmas and don\u2019t need one immediately, I think it makes sense to at least compare prices for Prime Days<\/strong>. That doesn\u2019t mean Amazon Prime Big Deal Days will definitely offer the cheapest Yoto price of the year. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are still to come, and Yoto also runs promotions directly through its own website (usually these work out better).<\/p>\n However, October gives you an opportunity to see what Amazon offers without leaving your Christmas shopping until the last few weeks of the year. For me, the key is not getting pulled in by a percentage discount alone. Before ordering, check exactly which generation of Player you\u2019re buying, what is included in the bundle and whether you could get better overall value by purchasing directly from Yoto.<\/p>\n This is an important comparison to make. A cheaper headline price on Amazon doesn\u2019t automatically mean it will be the best option for your family. We\u2019ve found ours particularly useful as part of our bedtime routine, but it also works brilliantly for audiobooks, music, podcasts and activities throughout the day.<\/p>\n The Yoto Mini<\/strong> is much more portable. If you want a Yoto for travelling, car journeys, holidays or simply moving easily between rooms, the Mini may suit your family better.<\/p>\n The introduction of Gen 4 adds another decision because you may also find previous-generation players available at reduced prices. If we see a substantial difference between the price of an older Yoto and a new 4th Gen model, you\u2019ll need to decide how much the new features matter to you. Personally, the Green Button<\/strong> is the Gen 4 feature I\u2019m most excited about.<\/p>\n Being able to give a child access to a smaller, parent-selected collection of audio without needing the physical cards could be fantastic at bedtime and when travelling. There are other improvements too, but the arrival of Gen 4 doesn\u2019t suddenly make previous Yoto Players obsolete. They are still very capable audio players.<\/p>\n If Amazon heavily discounts an older model, I certainly wouldn\u2019t rule it out simply because a newer generation now exists. Accessories can add quite a lot to the cost when you\u2019re setting up your first Yoto, so a good accessory or bundle discount can make a significant difference to the overall price. I\u2019ll be watching for offers on things such as Adventure Jackets, headphones, charging accessories, travel cases and Yoto Card storage.<\/p>\n It\u2019s worth comparing bundles carefully too. Sometimes a Player bundled with an accessory you were already intending to buy can offer better overall value than the cheapest standalone Player. One of my favourite things about Yoto is the amount of additional content you can access without continually buying new cards.<\/p>\n You can make your own audio collections, add personal recordings and use Make Your Own Yoto Cards for a huge variety of content. Every new Player also comes with a Make Your Own card, which gives you plenty of opportunity to experiment before buying lots of additional cards. I\u2019ve gathered together lots of ideas in my guide to free Yoto content for Yoto Player and Yoto Mini<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re expecting to buy lots of Yoto Cards, it\u2019s also worth understanding Yoto Club<\/strong> before you place a large order. There are currently several Yoto Club membership options and the benefits vary depending on which level you choose. Whether it saves you money will depend on how many cards you normally buy and how your family uses Yoto.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve been Yoto Club members for years and I\u2019ve put together a detailed Yoto Club 2026 comparison<\/strong><\/a> looking at Explorer, Collector and Collector+ and who I think each option suits. If you\u2019re considering buying directly from Yoto during a promotion, it\u2019s particularly worth checking the current Club benefits before you order.<\/p>\n Another section I always check when looking for Yoto bargains is the Last Chance<\/strong> area on the Yoto website. These are titles that are leaving the catalogue, and there can sometimes be some excellent reductions.<\/p>\n Availability changes frequently, so I\u2019m not going to list individual Last Chance cards here. Otherwise this Prime Day post would become out of date almost immediately. Instead, I keep the latest offers I find on my Yoto deals and promotions page<\/strong><\/a>. If there\u2019s a particular title you\u2019ve had your eye on, it\u2019s definitely worth checking.<\/p>\n The main thing I would avoid is buying something simply because Amazon tells you it\u2019s a deal. Before Prime Big Deal Days begins, decide whether you would prefer a Yoto Player or Yoto Mini and whether the new Gen 4 features matter to you. That makes it much easier to judge an offer when you see one.<\/p>\n Compare Amazon with Yoto directly and look carefully at exactly what is included with any bundle. If you\u2019re considering a previous-generation Player, compare the saving against the current Gen 4 price rather than looking only at the advertised percentage discount.<\/p>\n Think about accessories too. A slightly more expensive bundle that includes an Adventure Jacket or another accessory you already wanted could work out cheaper overall.<\/p>\n Finally, if you find exactly the deal you were hoping for, I wouldn\u2019t necessarily leave it until the final few hours of the event. Particular colours, bundles and models can sell through during popular promotions. Most importantly, buy the Yoto that suits your family rather than automatically choosing the one with the biggest percentage discount.<\/p>\n Possibly \u2013 but we won\u2019t know until the 2026 Black Friday offers are announced. Black Friday has previously been an important promotional period for children\u2019s audio players, so anyone who isn\u2019t in a rush will have another major shopping event after Prime Big Deal Days. The trade-off is that you won\u2019t know in October exactly what the November prices will be.<\/p>\n If you see a strong Prime Big Deal Days offer on exactly the Player or bundle you want, particularly if you\u2019re buying for Christmas, you\u2019ll need to decide whether a possible later saving is worth waiting for.
