Works beautifully on elbows, knees, feet, and hands.<\/div>\n<p><strong data-end=\"3523\" data-start=\"3506\">&#8211; For the face:<\/strong> A tiny dab goes a long way, especially if you have dry or sensitive skin.<\/p>\n<div><strong data-end=\"3620\" data-start=\"3603\">&#8211; For the hair:<\/strong> Melt a small amount between your palms and apply to dry ends or use as a deep-conditioning sealant for curls and coils.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<p data-end=\"1404\" data-start=\"1247\"><strong data-end=\"1509\" data-start=\"1474\">&#8211; 500g raw, unrefined shea butter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-end=\"1404\" data-start=\"1247\"><strong data-end=\"1604\" data-start=\"1585\">&#8211; 80g coconut oil<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"1404\" data-start=\"1247\"><strong data-end=\"1702\" data-start=\"1670\">&#8211; 200ml extra virgin olive oil<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-end=\"1404\" data-start=\"1247\"><strong data-end=\"1789\" data-start=\"1762\">&#8211; 1\u20132 tbsp almond extract<\/strong> (alcohol-free) \u2013 or a few drops of any skin-safe essential oil of your choice<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Method:<\/h2>\n<p><span data-end=\"1898\" data-start=\"1874\">1. Melt the shea butter and coconut oil<\/span> over a double boiler until liquid. Keep the heat low to preserve their nutrients. Turn off the heat once melted.<\/p>\n<p><span data-end=\"2093\" data-start=\"2068\">2. Pour in the olive oil<\/span> and stir gently until everything is smooth and combined.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>3. Add the <span data-end=\"2182\" data-start=\"2164\">almond extract<\/span> and stir.<\/p>\n<p>4. Cover with cling film and <span data-end=\"2263\" data-start=\"2235\">freeze for about an hour<\/span>, until the edges start to harden but the centre remains soft.<\/p>\n<p><span data-end=\"2339\" data-start=\"2331\">5. Whip<\/span> with an electric hand mixer or stand mixer for 10\u201315 minutes. After 10 minutes, you\u2019ll get a light, fluffy texture. Keep going for a thicker, creamier butter (my personal preference).<\/p>\n<p>6.
