Now he has the House pissed at him because he is shutting the session down early, with nothing until time for midterms. There will be no time for votes on anything, whether regarding AI or other issues. May we please get a better Speaker? (Preferably Pete Buttigieg because he can be apolitical. Silly idea, yes, mentioned earlier this year.) Johnson\u2019s wimpiness is getting old. Let\u2019s mention not swearing in a new representative because she would be the 218<sup>th<\/sup> signature needed for an Epstein Files release. He eventually bowed to pressure, especially because people were in the middle of work that needed to be finished.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson is ridiculously protective if something involves Trump. The House doesn\u2019t matter much, but Trump does. We\u2019ve had rage before. We\u2019ve had intense actions before. But Mikery doesn\u2019t think about his constituents. He doesn\u2019t think about matters to be handled in the House. He just wants to shield Trump as much as possible. His energies go toward protecting his orange god instead of the country and the needs of the people.<\/p>\n<p>Do you see Johnson doing anything for America? Because Trump isn\u2019t for America. Trump is for himself. He can do quite enough to protect himself. Johnson needs to do his damn job. It\u2019s challenging to figure out how to get Johnson to tell us what he\u2019s going to do, and it usually isn\u2019t his job. He does everything else *but* his job. He\u2019s getting worse and worse. It\u2019s been months that all he has tried to do is what Trump wants.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the kicker. There are two, possibly 3 if Massie can get the signatures, issues to address. We bet he\u2019s closing the House early to prevent doing anything.<\/p>\n<p>We have AI to control.<\/p>\n<p>We potentially have another Epstein bill coming to force the release of the rest of the files.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the main one that Johnson seems to be avoiding. Articles of Impeachment for Hegseth. He *really* doesn\u2019t want to deal with that. By closing early, he avoids the issue til Congress is back in session, and that\u2019s weeks from now. We don\u2019t exactly know why he wants to avoid it, but the people in the House apparently do. I value <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rawstory.com\/mike-johnson-2677867829\/\"><em>Raw Story<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>House Speaker\u00a0Mike Johnson\u00a0(R-LA) <strong>was widely condemned Wednesday after canceling all House votes for Thursday<\/strong> \u2014 which would have been the chamber\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JakeSherman\/status\/2100241310900691449\">last day until after Election Day<\/a>\u201d \u2014 <strong>sparking accusations that the move was designed to dodge impeachment proceedings<\/strong>. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA) issued a brutal condemnation of Johnson. \u201c<strong>For the TWENTY-EIGHTH day this year<\/strong>, <strong>Mike Johnson has canceled votes<\/strong>, t<strong>his time to avoid voting on Hegseth\u2019s impeachment<\/strong>,\u201d Houlahan wrote in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepHoulahan\/status\/2100243109632188779\">social media post<\/a>\u00a0on X. \u201c<strong><u>Do your job<\/u><\/strong>, <strong><u>Speaker Johnson<\/u><\/strong>, <strong><u>so we can do ours<\/u><\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>SCORCHED. Johnson *isn\u2019t* doing his job. He\u2019s running. He\u2019s hiding. He\u2019s afraid of what the people of the House might do, especially regarding Hegseth. We don\u2019t know much at this point about why he\u2019s avoiding impeachment proceedings for Petey Boy. Perhaps it\u2019s because it would make Trump look bad? Trump chose his \u2018cabinet\u2019 (and they\u2019re all garbage), so Johnson has to protect them, too. Is leaving early to prevent votes because of actions against Hegseth?<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re not going to go away, and it will fester until the House is back in session. Johnson is tap-dancing around, trying to deter certain actions. They\u2019re not going to go away just because they are on a break, and could very well come back twice as hard when it will be around midterms. Then Mikey is going to have his hands full. Nice.<\/p>\n<p><em>Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We\u2019re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love.
