\"Messorem<\/a><\/div>\n

Today’s sampling comes from mon ami \u00c9ric! This is a collab between Messorem Bracitorium<\/span><\/a><\/b> (Montr\u00e9al) and Brasserie du Bas Canada<\/span><\/a><\/b> (Gatineau). The beer is Cr\u00e8me de la Cr\u00e8me XTRM Turbo DIPA brewed with Peacharine, Waimea, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Citra Hyperboost hops. 8% ABV<\/p>\n

The label immediately reminds me of a Superflux<\/span><\/a><\/b> beer that has a cow on it that parodies a popular milk brand<\/span><\/a> in Western Canada that has a facility in my own town.<\/p>\n

Appearance:<\/b> Pours a murky, opaque, a creamy orangesicle kind of appearance to it. Moderate bright white head on top that initially is quite thick and frothy but quickly diminishes to a light amount of bubbles on the glass and on top of the beer.<\/p>\n

Aroma: <\/b>Decently sweet, moderately creamy, oaty, notes of grapefruit, moderate orange notes, a bit of alfalfa, melon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Taste: <\/b>Quite a creamy DIPA, which I was expecting even before I tried this beer. It’s quite sweet and tropical. Pineapple, grapefruit, orange, lemon, a LOT of oats, and a moderate bitterness that tingles the back of the mouth.. a slight hint of pine and a bit of alfalfa I’m thinking?<\/p>\n

Overall Thoughts:<\/b> Very creamy, quite sweet DIPA, lots of tropical notes. A very solid collab between two of Quebec’s best breweries!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
