Having loosely involved from the \u201cWinter Arc\u201d movement the idea is that summer is over and it\u2019s time to reset and refocus. It runs from the 1st of September to the 31st of December. With 4 months, 120ish days, left of the year the idea is that is enough time to be super intentional about your goals, build fantastic habits and end the year strong.<\/p>\n The way people LOCK IN looks different, but some very popular activities include:<\/p>\n As a self-improvement lover, I thoroughly enjoy seeing people getting ready to lock in. So much can happen in 4 months when you are intentional. But where as most of the Great Lock In content was around health and fitness I thought it would be fun (yes I have a warped idea of fun) to have a business owner edition. So here goes.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The first thing you can commit to is to check your finances daily. If you are a business owner that isn\u2019t currently checking your finances daily this might seem a bit extreme. Maybe you are checking once a week or just check when a bank notification goes off, it\u2019s time to up your game.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Checking your bank account daily will help you to really understand what is coming in and going out of your business. When you are looking once a week, or worse, every few weeks, you can see a list of transactions and have a quick scan but miss stuff. It\u2019s how businesses end up spending more money than they need to without realising. When you look daily, you\u2019ll have a better understanding of your cashflow, which is important too.
