The Hollywood Wax Museum’s Chamber of Horrors is better for ages eight and up. The Biltmore’s history is worth saving for teenagers — the Black Dahlia case is genuinely grim and not something to narrate to a young child.

Is there a haunted walking tour in Los Angeles?

Yes, for the downtown portion. The downtown cluster takes two to three hours on foot. Hollywood Forever and the Wax Museum are about 20 minutes north by car, and Griffith Park’s Old Zoo is roughly another 15 minutes from there. Add parking and LA traffic and you’re looking at a full day.
