Level Up: Inside Mega Camp 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year Mega Camp (MC26) tightened its name and its focus as thousands of KW-affiliated associates returned to the Henry B. Gonz\u00e1lez Convention Center in San Antonio for four days built around one directive: <strong>Lock in. Level up.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Split into two tracks, MC26 offered a path for agents chasing top-level production, as well as one for Market Center leaders looking to concentrate their systems \u2014 all while presenting sharper main-stage sessions and more opportunities for role-based masterminds led by MAPS Coaches.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Market Update<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gary Keller, now a big-time coffee guy, opened with his much-anticipated state-of-the-U.S. economy address; joined by the familiar likes of Chief Industry and Strategy Officer Jason Abrams, VP of KW MAPS Coaching Cody Gibson, and Chief Economist Ruben Gonzalez. The TL;DR is that unemployment has ticked up to around 4.1%, GDP growth has cooled to roughly 2% annualized, and inflation sits near 2.9% (which is still elevated, but a world away from 2022\u2019s peak). More to the point, existing home sales have held steady in the 4\u20134.15 million range, with inventory hovering between 3.5 and 4.7 months of supply. This is a market where representation has to prove its value every time. But as Gary put it, \u201cthere\u2019s enough real estate being sold for any one of you to hit the goals you\u2019ve established for yourself.\u201d The job isn\u2019t to wait for the market to get easier. It\u2019s what he called, bluntly, \u201ca price and beauty contest,\u201d and winning starts with the right mindset.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FearFit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"695\" src=\"https:\/\/outfront.kw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/MC26_GaryKeller-2-1024x695.jpg\" alt=\"Gary Keller stands on a stage speaking, wearing a black t-shirt with the word &quot;FearFit&quot; printed in white. Gary made a point to distinguish that there is a difference between being <em>fearful<\/em> and being <em>FearFit<\/em>. The question isn\u2019t whether or not you feel fear, but rather does fear have you or <em>do you have it?<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFear is your mind predicting something bad could happen,\u201d he told the room. \u201cThe difference between average and extraordinary isn\u2019t the absence of fear. It\u2019s what we do with it.\u201d It\u2019s never been about eliminating fear, so much as making sure that fear \u201chas less influence over your choices.\u201d Gary hammered it home saying that \u201cconfidence doesn\u2019t come before action. Confidence comes from <em>repeated<\/em> action.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Optimization vs. Scaling<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Day Two, Gary built off that mindset with a helpful framework (and challenge) that in order \u201cto become someone we\u2019ve never been, we must do things we\u2019ve never done.\u201d With that, he drew a line between two ideas most people never separate: <strong>optimization<\/strong> and <strong>scaling<\/strong>. To put it simply, optimization is getting the most out of what you\u2019ve already got, whereas scaling is taking that and building it into more. \u201cIf you fail to optimize, you\u2019ll fail to scale.\u201d The best path forward is to make it work, make it better, and make it last.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Fireside Chat with Simon Sinek<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As one of the MC26\u2019s biggest draws, <a href=\"https:\/\/simonsinek.com\/\">Simon Sinek<\/a> sat down for an intimate and illuminating conversation with Gary and Jason. When asked what a career studying human behavior had taught him, Sinek\u2019s answer cut straight to relationships. \u201cPeople are remarkably consistent,\u201d he said, \u201cand the difference between a bad salesperson and a great one often comes down to curiosity\u201d \u2014 adding that bad salespeople ask about one-fifth of the questions a good one might. \u201cHave genuine interest and care,\u201d he said, \u201cand the skills transfer everywhere \u2014 business and life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can imagine, the center of the conversation was <em>why<\/em>. Sinek has built a career on the idea that \u201cpeople don\u2019t buy what you do, they buy why you do it,\u201d and he pushed the room further: agents who chase success as a <em>what<\/em> (i.e. a number, a title, a deal) often hit it and realize it\u2019s not enough. \u201cA real <em>why<\/em>,\u201d he explained, \u201cis an act of service, and not a scoreboard.\u201d He went on to state that a <em>why<\/em> is mostly set by the time we\u2019re in our late teens, living less in the decision-making part of your brain (prefrontal cortex) and more in the part that can\u2019t quite put itself into words (the limbic brain). \u201cIt\u2019s how it feels,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s not a tagline you invent, but one you discover.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He closed with some relational wisdom, explaining that clients can tell the difference between someone who shows up to <em>take<\/em> and someone who shows up to <em>give<\/em>. \u201cDon\u2019t sacrifice relationships for money,\u201d he told the crowd. \u201cThe relationships will last better.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Voices of MC26<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s CEO Summit kicked things off with Craig Zuber\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/4yftLRI\">10 Year Letter<\/a>\u201d exercise, Dan Buettner\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluezones.com\/\">Blue Zones<\/a> longevity research, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amyporterfield.com\/\">Amy Porterfield<\/a>\u2019s reminder that \u201cif you\u2019re not getting consistent leads out of social media you\u2019re not marketing \u2014 you\u2019re volunteering.\u201d Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/cameronherold.com\/\">Cameron Herold<\/a> walked leaders through hiring an effective second-in-command (with an admonishment to \u201cdelegate everything except genius\u201d), <a href=\"https:\/\/empowerhome-team.com\/agents\/sarah-reynolds-oji\/\">Sarah Reynolds<\/a> delivered six keys to winning the conversation around pricing, and <a href=\"https:\/\/movementmaker.ai\/leslee-owen\/\">Leslee Owen<\/a> challenged agents not to be \u201cthe invisible giant\u201d \u2014 one who\u2019s strong in person, but a ghost online.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bringing It Home<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the copious notes, agents were able to purchase and take home an early copy of the <a href=\"https:\/\/kellerink.com\/products\/the-millionaire-real-estate-agent-playbook-volume-4\"><strong><em>MREA Playbook Vol. 4<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, with new sections on AI, newsletters, and social media, alongside timeless and familiar models such as the 5 Ps of Scale and the Circle of Trust.
