\n girls at a church in Sacramento, California\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 (Feb.28, 2022, ABC
\n News)<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>\u201cKayla Giles and her husband, Thomas Coutee, Jr., were embroiled in a
\n contentious divorce and custody battle when she shot him in 2018,\u201d (Feb.
\n 1, 2022, People.Com)
<\/i>
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>Dr. Jan Garavaglia says, \u201cAbout 30% of murdered women were murdered by
\n their intimate partner: husband, ex-husband, fiance, etc.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>When I did premarital counseling there was one critical question that I
\n always asked.\u00a0 It would hopefully avoid horrible, mind-numbing-news
\n flashes like these.\u00a0 I attempted to just be so calm and relaxed the
\n couple wouldn\u2019t suspect a potent argument might soon erupt.\u00a0 At least
\n it often did; only a few avoided it.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>\u201cIf you get a separation or divorce who gets custody of your children?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>In later years I counseled mainly couples with a blended-family.\u00a0 You
\n know: his, hers and ours.\u00a0 There is one rule I stressed over and over
\n and over.\u00a0 For the marriage to work punishment was to be done by the
\n natural parent.\u00a0 Many times, a well-intentioned step parent, exacts
\n reprimand or correction.\u00a0 Often it would blow up in their face.\u00a0
\n \u201cYou\u2019re not my Dad. I don\u2019t have to listen to you.\u201d\u00a0 Or, \u201cYou\u2019re not my
\n Mom. I can\u2019t stand you.\u201d\u00a0 Over hundreds of counseling sessions I heard
\n far worse castigations than these.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>It is so sad what is currently going on with marriages and couples who
\n shack up.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>The percentage of adults having sex with multiple people is beyond belief
\n and\u00a0<\/span>far exceeds anytime in human history.\u00a0 A recent
\n winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada had about 6,500 Athletes and Officials
\n over the 17 day event.\u00a0 They were provided over 100,000 condoms until
\n they realized that was not enough.\u00a0 So they were given another
\n 8,500.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>I hang my head in shame to report this as in the Lord\u2019s Plan for intimate
\n relations <\/i>He wants purity.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>STOP arguing thinking I\u2019m just a crusty antique old
\n geezer.\u00a0 No matter what the world, press, websites and groups of
\n swingers, sex dating sites, etc.\u00a0<\/span>present.\u00a0 God wants
\n purity.
<\/p>\n

\n \u201cYou adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that friendship
\n with the world is hostility toward God?\u00a0 Therefore whoever wants
\n to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.\u201d (James
\n 4:4, NHEB)<\/span>\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/i>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>The Bible contains 165 warnings against any type of immorality. 165.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/i>Without listing all the types of immorality the Bible warns against, let\u2019s
\n consider\u00a0<\/span>some statements from God\u2019s Word itself.<\/p>\n

Eyesight:\u00a0 <\/b>
<\/p>\n

\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cI have made a covenant with my eyes;
\n \u00a0How then could I gaze at a virgin?\u201d Job 31:1)<\/span>\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/i><\/p>\n

\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cBut I say to you that everyone who looks at
\n a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in
\n his heart.\u201d (Matt 5:28)\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/span><\/i>Action:\u00a0 <\/b>
<\/p>\n

\n \u201cCan a man take fire in his bosom\u00a0 and his clothes not be
\n burned?<\/span>
\n Or can a man walk on hot coals and his feet not be scorched?\u00a0 So
\n is the one who goes in to his neighbor\u2019s wife; Whoever touches her
\n will not go unpunished. (Proverbs 6:27-29)<\/span>\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/span>Finality:
<\/b>
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When the Lord Jesus
\n spoke the final description of who will and will not be going to Heaven, he
\n made it very clear:\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThe one who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God
\n and he will be My son.\u00a0 But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and
\n abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral persons, and sorcerers,
\n and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns
\n with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.\u201d (Revelation
\n 21:7-8)<\/i>

\n option available no matter how you\u2019ve led your life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThe Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness;
\n but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that
\n all should come to repentance.\u201d (2 Peter 3:9, NHEB)<\/span><\/i>
