But sometimes, despite our deepest prayers, tragedy strikes.<\/p>\n<p>The recent heartbreaking road accidents at SCTEX and near NAIA have taken precious lives. Among them were sons and daughters, a baby now orphaned\u2014stories that feel too heavy to bear. As a mom, I can\u2019t help but imagine the pain of sending your child off in the morning, only to end up planning their funeral by nightfall. No parent should ever have to bury their child.<\/p>\n<p>These moments are more than headlines\u2014they\u2019re gut-wrenching realities for families who now carry an unfillable void.<\/p>\n<p>To every grieving parent: there are no words strong enough to carry your sorrow, but there is a God strong enough to carry <em>you<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Pain Only Heaven Understands<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a pain only a parent who\u2019s lost a child can understand. And yet, our God understands it too. He watched His own Son suffer and die\u2014not because He wanted to, but because He loved us enough to let go.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 Psalm 34:18<\/p>\n<p>To the parent who feels like they can\u2019t breathe, who holds their child\u2019s favorite toy and weeps, who wishes they could turn back time\u2014you are seen. You are held. You are not alone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Encouragement for the Days After<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are no easy answers. But there is grace for each moment.<\/p>\n<p>To the parents left behind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take each day one breath at a time.<\/li>\n<li>Let others love on you.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t be afraid to grieve loudly, slowly, or however you need.<\/li>\n<li>Remember, your child\u2019s life, no matter how short, had eternal value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And to that precious baby now orphaned\u2014you are not forgotten. May you be surrounded by arms that will love you fiercely and communities that will never let you feel unloved or unwanted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Quote to Hold Onto<\/strong><br \/><em>\u201cGrief is the price we pay for love. But love never truly dies\u2014it lives on in the memories we keep and the lives we touch.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>A Reflection for All of Us<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In these moments, may we remember to slow down.<br \/>To cherish every hug.<br \/>To say \u201cI love you\u201d a little more.<br \/>To pray over our children with urgency and trust.<br \/>And to live, not in fear\u2014but in gratitude.<\/p>\n<p>Because tomorrow is never guaranteed, but love can still be given today.<\/p>\n<p>Mamas, may we hold our little ones a bit closer tonight.
