With Sky Sports stating that Turkish club Besiktas were willing to pay \u00a317m for the 27-year-old but that has been turned down.<\/p>\n<p>Monday also brought news that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themag.co.uk\/2026\/08\/luck-of-the-draw-for-newcastle-united\/\">Newcastle United<\/a> had agreed a transfer fee with Lille for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themag.co.uk\/2026\/08\/matias-fernandez-pardo-has-arrived-in-newcastle-to-complete-transfer-with-footage-made-public-newcastle-united\/\">Matias Fernandez-Pardo<\/a>, a guaranteed \u20ac60m (approx \u00a351.4m), plus an unspecified amount in potential future add-ons.
