These adjustments are made using publicly available exchange rate information from reputable financial media (e.g., The Wall Street Journal) or financial companies (e.g., Bloomberg) to help make sure prices for apps and In-App\u00a0Purchases stay consistent across all storefronts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As of August 27:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Your proceeds from the sale of eligible apps and In\u2011App\u00a0Purchases have been modified in:<\/p>\n<p>* Morocco: Value\u2011added tax (VAT) introduction of 20%<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Republic of the Congo: VAT introduction of 18%<\/li>\n<li>Tanzania: Digital sales tax (DST) rate increase from 2% to 3%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exhibit B of the Paid Applications Agreement will be updated to indicate that Apple collects and remits applicable taxes in Morocco and the Republic of the Congo.\u00b9<\/p>\n<p><strong>Price updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Beginning September 14:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Pricing for apps and In-App\u00a0Purchases will be updated for Israel, Indonesia, Morocco, and the Republic of the Congo if you haven\u2019t selected one of these storefronts as the base storefront for your app or In\u2011App\u00a0Purchase.\u00b2 These updates also consider the VAT introductions listed in the tax updates section above.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve selected Israel, Indonesia, Morocco, or the Republic of the Congo as the base storefront for your app or In-App\u00a0Purchase, prices on that storefront won\u2019t change. On other storefronts, prices will be updated to maintain equalization with your chosen base price.<\/p>\n<p>Prices won\u2019t change in any region if your In\u2011App\u00a0Purchase is an auto\u2011renewable subscription. <\/p>\n<p>Prices won\u2019t change on the storefronts where you manually manage prices instead of using the automated equalized prices.<\/p>\n<p>The Pricing and Availability section of Apps has been updated in <a href=\"https:\/\/appstoreconnect.apple.com\/login\">App Store Connect<\/a> to display these upcoming price changes.
