Perhaps this had been due to my sensing that I had been getting pulled in too many different directions at the same time. Not having things go in the manner I had desired, whether it had been at school, in my life at home, involving the relationships I had been experiencing with friends or with boys. Back then, I should have been asking myself whether I had been relying on my own comprehension of life experiences or placing my trust in the Lord for His assistance in navigating the turmoil in my life. Upon reading the Bible, I came across the above Scripture, which advises against relying on my own account.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While this Scripture did serve as an enlightenment to my situation, as a young teenage Christian girl, I couldn\u2019t help but ask myself, \u201cHow can I place my trust in someone I can\u2019t see? This is perhaps why I wound up asking the Lord in the form of a brief prayer:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cLord, please help me in placing my trust in You, for every part of my existence.
