It was quite small for my sister and me to share \u2013 I think it\u2019s the equivalent size to their other rooms that they list as \u201ccompact.\u201d (And I appreciate their honesty in using that name!)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For us this wasn\u2019t much of a problem. We had both traveled with a carry-on bag and small underseat bag only \u2013 see <a href=\"https:\/\/rachelsruminations.com\/minimalist-packing-tips\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"19157\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">my minimalist packing tips<\/a> \u2013 so my sister took the wardrobe for her things, and I cleared the desk so it could hold my bag. I only like to open my bag on the floor if the room is big enough so I won\u2019t trip over it. This room isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nevertheless, the room felt upscale, partly because of the d\u00e9cor \u2013 marble detailing, bright wall coverings, chic lamps \u2013 and partly because of the extra amenities \u2013 a coffee machine, a mini-fridge, bathrobes and slippers, a choice of pillows, and the quality toiletries in the marble bathroom. It all looks quite elegant, spotlessly clean, and, like the Herodion, it has outlets by the bed. We had a small balcony, and I enjoyed taking a look at the street below whenever I was at the hotel.
