It’s 3am. Baby is screaming. You’ve tried the bottle you were so sure would work, the one with the five star reviews and the “recommended by mums everywhere” sticker, and baby is having absolutely none of it. If that scene feels a little too familiar, the Tommee Tippee Perfect Latch Kit was made with exactly this moment in mind.

If you’ve been searching for the best baby bottle for a breastfed baby, the answer usually isn’t one bottle, it’s finding the right teat shape, and that’s exactly what this kit is built around.

Finding a bottle your baby will actually accept is one of those parenting rites of passage nobody warns you about. You buy one, baby rejects it. You buy another, same story. Before you know it there’s a drawer full of half used teats and a very tired mum wondering what she’s doing wrong.

Here’s the thing. You’re not doing anything wrong. You just haven’t found the right fit yet, and that’s exactly the problem Tommee Tippee set out to solve.

Trial and No Error, Finally

Tommee Tippee’s campaign line for this launch is “Trial and no error,” and honestly, it’s hard to think of a more accurate way to sum up what new (and not so new) parents are after. The kit is designed to help you find your baby’s perfect teat, first time, rather than working through trial and error on your own.

Instead of buying multiple bottles and crossing your fingers, the Tommee Tippee Perfect Latch Kit gives you two different breast-like teat shapes to try, so you can work out what your baby actually prefers without the guesswork, made for improved acceptance and to make bottle and combi-feeding simple from the start.

Meet the Tommee Tippee Perfect Latch Kit’s Two Teats

The kit includes two distinct teat styles, and they’re designed for different feeding needs.

1. Deep Latch Teat

A triangular shape specially designed to easily reach the soft palate for a natural feeding pace. This teat has been developed with Healthcare Professionals^, which matters if you’re after that added layer of confidence in the design.

2. Wide Latch Teat

Supple and designed to help reduce nipple confusion, with special ridges that flex and stretch to replicate the movement of a breast. If you’re combi-feeding, meaning a mix of breast and bottle, this is the teat worth trying first.

Between the two, 98% of babies accept these Natural Start® teats*, which are made from soft silicone. There’s also a smaller 60ml bottle sized specifically for newborn feeds, because those early portions are tiny and deserve a bottle that matches, plus it helps with accurate measuring and avoiding overfeeding.
