</picture>

HiRUM is excited to announce API integration between HiSITE Channel Manager and HomeAway!

HiSITE Channel Manager clients are now able to list their accommodation properties through a seamless API integration with major vacation rental operator, HomeAway. This will provide Vacation Rental Property Owners with even more revenue opportunities!

By expanding their already impressive connection portfolio to reflect more vacation rental opportunities for property owners, HiSITE clients now have extensive visibility to holidaymakers around the globe.

“This is an extremely exciting time for anyone that has a vacation rental in their portfolio, including Resort Operators, Property Managers or individual holiday home owners. At HiRUM, our diligence in ensuring we remain at the forefront of relevant integration partnerships, enables our client’s access to a wider variety of profitable opportunities for their accommodation business” said Sylvia Johnston, Senior Executive at HiRUM Software Solutions.

Johnston said this partnership is long-awaited by HiSITE clients, and many have shown keen interest even before the announcement was made official.

Regional Director for HomeAway, Ross McDonald, is just as eager for customers to start utilising the connection. “We’re delighted to partner with experienced technology provider, HiRUM. The direct connection with HomeAway will bring HiRUM customers greater efficiency by automating updates of rates, availability and content, while accessing domestic and international travellers across the global HomeAway network of sites, including Stayz.com.au, Bookabach.co.nz, Vrbo.com, Abritel.fr and many more.”

This exciting connection will open many doors for property owners, giving them back control for heightened exposure and business growth. “We anticipate many clients will jump at the opportunity to be seen by a broader demographic of global bookers and we forecast a noticeable growth in profit for these operators,” said Sylvia.

The HomeAway Family

As part of the Expedia, Inc family of brands, HomeAway Australia also owns Sydney based holiday rental website Stayz, who is a leader in vacation rentals with over 40,000 property listings in Australia. In addition to Australian based Stayz.com.au, the HomeAway portfolio also includes other leading vacation rental sites around the world like US-based VRBO.com, VacationRentals.com, and Homelidays.com, New Zealand based Bookabach.co.nz, and France based Abritel.fr.

Added Value for HiSITE Platinum Users

Annually, HomeAway receives roughly 17 million visits to their websites and gets an estimated $14-$16 billion in vacation rental bookings worldwide. These numbers suggest an average booking revenue of roughly $8,000 a year for each listing on HomeAway. This is most definitely a good amount of added value for HiSITE Platinum users for just one new channel integration. It’s also important to point out that HiSITE is currently one of the only integration partners with the ability to offer a HomeAway channel manager connection.

How to Connect to HomeAway Channel Manager

Customers with HiSITE Platinum will be able to simply tick ‘activate this channel’ as they do for other channels through the platform. After a few quick administrative details are set-up, their properties’ rates and availability will be instantly uploaded to HomeAway.

Future Integrations

In addition to the HomeAway channel manager integration, stay tuned for more new channel integrations coming to HiSITE in the future including TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals.
